About the Role
We are looking to add Dishwashers to our Caribbean Restaurant team, if you are interested in contributing to a fast paced environment, apply today!
The Dishwasher is responsible for supplying spotless, sanitized dishes for use in the dining room, clean kitchen utensils to the cooks, for operating the dishwashing machine using appropriate supplies and procedures, and ensuring adequate supplies of dishes and utensils at all times. The Dishwasher also ensures that kitchen floors and the dishwashing area are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
Requirements
Previous restaurant or related experience preferred.
High school diploma (or equivalent).
Comfortable working independently and managing workload while supporting a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Punctuality and reliability are critical.
Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals.
Valid New Mexico Food Handler certification required before hire.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required.
Ability to work in an environment where the employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, noise, and odors.
Ability to stand for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
